About Us
We rose from the ash of the great bombs. Our goal is to help society to the same

Before the great bombs were dropped on our once prosperous cities, the Phoenix Society was working to gather the remnants of books before knowledge was banned. They were never sure their efforts would amount to much until now. We work to spread information from the written word and use it to better society.

how we got our start

After the bombs fell we knew we had to elect a leader that could represent our message and convince the hearts of those who were terrified that we could make things better than before. While a small election was held, it was unanimous agreement that the most recent member, Guy Montag, would a perfect fit for this position. In honor of the 20th anniversary of his passing, we are showcasing some of the collateral from his successful campaign to spread the word of our organization.

During Montags campaign to spread the word of our work, he sought out to create merchandise that would not only represent our message, but that could also be used to help those regardless of whether or not they joined our community. This lead coated flask ensured that clean water would stay clean regardless of radiation in the area.

One of the smaller ways we attempted to spread our message and recruit followers was metal backed pins, its was a subtle way to show alliance and also a way to start a conversations with others.

This pamphlet was handed out at Phoenix Society rallies in order to re-educate the public on the history of firefighters. Montag thought that one of the first steps to opening peoples eyes, would be telling them the original purpose of firefighters.

This pre-bomb artifact was artifact was often shown off at Montags rallies. It was a container used to disguise books in plain sight, so they wouldn't be confiscated and burned by the once prevalent firefighters. In this particular tin, Montag discovered a book that helped him restore the water purification plant where our base of operation first took off.

This is one of the greatest early accomplishments of the Phoenix Society. After unearthing an old printing press from before books were ever banned, Montag himself worked to restore the press to its former glory and brought together members to print a survival zine for survivors to use to increase their odds. It was an incredible success and to this day is being updated and reprinted yearly. If you click the button below you can view the original print of the first edition
